Sonia Guajajara and Alicia Keys in Rock in Rio

"Because there is no Plan B, this is the mother of all fights, the fight for Mother Earth." Sonia Bone Guajajara, coordinator of Articulation of the Indigenous Peoples of Brazil (APIB) was invited by the singer and activist Alicia Keys to climb to the World Stage in Rock in Rio (on 17/9/17). She sent her message to the planet. It was a historic moment that gave goosebumps. The attempt to extinguish the National Reserve of Copper and Associates (RENCA) united all the flags around the cause of the preservation of the Amazon, and echoed beyond Brazil. Because this fight is not only for indigenous peoples, but for all who care about the well-being of Earth and the legacy we will leave for future generations.
