A Zoo for all

The life of Cannelle and Canaille would make a great movie script. The two little brown bears are the only survivors of seven cubs born of mothers rescued from a circus. Undernourished, the mothers were taken to the La Tanière Zoo, in France, two hours from Paris. The venue, to be inaugurated next year, will have 450 animals with stories similar to the two in the photo. They were all found in a situation of animal abuse, abandonment or old age. According to the Zoo creator, Patrick Violas, each one of them will have its story told to the public. If you go visit, better bring some tissue paper!
