The ocean is getting bluer and this is bad news

Mar azul

Tim Maia wanted to have “a dream all blue, blue like the color of the sea”.  But the harsh reality shows that 50% of the oceans will become even bluer for a bad reason, like the MIT study predicts.  It’s that the climate changes are making the microscopic algae known as phytoplankton, disappear.  This is causing a considerable drop in the food chain of the oceans , besides altering the way rays of sunshine interact with marine fauna and flora.  This way, the color tone of the sea that delighted the singer may become a nightmare.
